•Based on local water work authority requirements that are normally applied to housing estates, flats, hotel.
•Based on rule 224 (Uniform water supply rules).
•Based on actual recording of daily water consumption. This method is applied to hospitals expressed in terms of gallons per bed.
Rule 224 as shown in Table 1 below.
If the capacity of a storage required cannot be obtained from Table 1, use Table 2 below.
