From today until 20th April 2010, i will be studying Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system. Since the scope is very wide, I will only learn on the basic of the HVAC System.

Topics that i studied :

1) Definition
To stabilise the air temperature and humidity within an area. Typically using a refrigeration cycle but sometimes using evaporation, commonly for comfort cooling in buildings and motor vehicles.

2) Information that needed before to get air conditioner size.
- Position of building / building orientation
- Building use
- Building shape
- Building material
- Number of people in room or space
- Light, equipment computer and other which produces heat
- Aeration, whether need continue disposal air from room
- Surrounding area

At 9 a.m, 40 JKR(CKM) staffs and I went to pipe factory in Klang. The name of factory is ALPINE PIPE MANUFACTURING SDN BHD. This factory produce steel quality and owned by Hiap Teck Venture Berhad (HTVB). HTVB is one of the leading steel company in Malaysia. The objective of this factory visit is to know more on pipes offered by ALPINE PIPE.
